Michigan time | 2014

Ok, let me just state the obvious. What a fantastic thing to be waiting for me on my bed upon my arrival home. It came in a package with my name on it, slightly hidden underneath my pillow. Inside the package, it came wrapped in wrapping paper and before even reading who it was from (assuming it was the parents), I peeled the paper off like I was a 6 year old on christmas morning, and ran upstairs screaming "WHO KNEW I LOVED LENA DUNHAM?!". My parents looked at eachother, both equally confused, which then made me confused. Then they remembered that I had a package delivered from my friend Melissa (thanks boo!), but no idea of the contents. I then filled them in that I would be downstairs reading if anyone needed me.

I haven't been home long, but I've had precious moments already. I saw my longtime friends Allison and Rachel and Al's baby, Blake. We played with Blake, Al showed me her cute little baby bump for her next little monster, we chatted about life as if time hadn't stopped since the last time we all got together and then watched the first episode of "The Mentalist" that I worked on and I caught them up on my life. Rachel and I then started talking about food and my 16 year old nastalgia kicked in of times working at Pizza King, so we went there. The King's Delight is where it's at (triple that mayo)!!

Today was so sweet. I hung out with my niece and nephew. They both have grown so very much. Emerson is running around like crazy and can say names! Ella and I played Barbies, makeup, and she actually did my hair with braids and all. I caught a cute photo of Emerson sleeping.

Ella and I had a day date and went to lunch and painted pottery together at "The Painted Turtle" in Mt. Pleasant. We've had some fun family moments - a highlight being family twister :) Photos below.
