Mike's typewriter notes

Every Christmas, my Stepdad Mike writes little typewritten notes from his typewriter with 4-liner poems that (somewhat) rhyme, to each of us kids, now including the grandchildren. They are always witty, and usually include a typo or two and weird spacing and indentations, which only add to the humour.

I'll start with my favorite one - the note in which Mike wrote to my sister Angie, who let's just say had a less than ideal year. Read carefully at how he spelled "piece". We all laughed as Angie interpreted it as "Dad wants me to get a piece this year". Hahaha. He obviously meant "peace".

Ella enjoys hearing these the most, as she thinks her Papa is so hilarious. It's funny to hear her reactions as everyone reads their note aloud. Such a fun tradition :)
